Last time I explained a little about how we arrive at our quotes and this time I will share a little more about the quotes we show you.

Before we launched our service we spent a lot of time looking at the competition, obviously we wanted to include what they did well and improve on what they did badly. That seems easy enough, but we soon discovered some of the features we saw and didn’t like were compromises to show all the information needed to provide a useful service without overloading the site user.

Searching for Travel Insurance doesn’t need to be difficult

When I renewed my home and contents insurance last month I used a popular comparison website, I got my quotes, picked a winner and bought my cover. That should have been the end of it. Instead I have been having to unsubscribe from email quotes, fending of telesales calls and stuffing the recycling with home insurance quotes I don’t want. It is not just that I don’t want them, I have just bought home insurance, I really do not need home insurance right now. I am pretty sure that I did not miss the little tick box opting out of being contacted, I guess it is buried deep in the terms and conditions that this is what I am signing up to when I use their site.
