Last time I explained a little about how we arrive at our quotes and this time I will share a little more about the quotes we show you.

Before we launched our service we spent a lot of time looking at the competition, obviously we wanted to include what they did well and improve on what they did badly. When I renewed my home and contents insurance last month I used a popular comparison website, I got my quotes, picked a winner and bought my cover. That should have been the end of it. Instead I have been having to unsubscribe from email quotes, fending of telesales calls and stuffing the recycling with home insurance quotes I don’t want. It is not just that I don’t want them, I have just bought home insurance, I really do not need home insurance right now. I am pretty sure that I did not miss the little tick box opting out of being contacted, I guess it is buried deep in the terms and conditions that this is what I am signing up to when I use their site.  Read more...
