Buying Euros Online: A Quick Guide

Follow these 3 simple steps to buy Euros online:

  1. Use our free Euro comparison service to find out who is offering the top Euro rates at the moment. Our comparison tool tracks and monitors the Euro rates from dozens of the UK's biggest and best currency suppliers including the Post Office, high street banks and supermarkets so you can see in real-time who is offering the top deals.
  2. Find the best rate for you and click the 'Buy Now' button to go directly to the supplier's website where you can follow their instructions and place your order.
  3. Depending on the supplier, you may be able to pay for your order online using a Credit or Debit card when you place your order. If not, you'll be asked to make a Bank Transfer into their bank account after you've placed your order (don't worry, they'll email you step-by-step instructions on how to do this). After you've paid, that's it! Sit back and your currency should be delivered to your door in a couple of working days.

All orders are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery which is a next working day service and insured for up to £2,500 (orders over this value will usually be split into separate packages). A signature will be required on delivery, otherwise a calling card is left which allows you to arrange re-delivery or pick your order up from your local sorting office.

When you should place your order?

We are often asked how long before you travel should you place your order? Most orders have a turnaround time of 3 working days providing everything goes smoothly, but just in case we would recommend ordering no later than a week before you are due to travel. This gives 5 working days to process and despatch your order which should be plenty of time for most currency suppliers. The most common reason for delayed orders comes from customers not including their order reference number with their payment, followed by entering an incorrect or misspelled address for the payment details. To avoid this, be sure to enter the address that your bank has on file when asked for the payment address. If you have any questions or concerns along the way, you can of course contact the supplier by phone or email and their customer services team will be glad to guide you.
