Bought £3,000 worth of US dollars
I have used Sterling fx with no problems but this time I ordered 4000USD. I debated whether or not to go for high value or mixed denominations but foolishly selected “mixed” denominations. I received 6 x 100, 1 x 50, 10 x 1, 3 x 10 and 2 x 50 and 160 (IONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY) 20USD notes. Nearly all of the 20 USD were dated 2017 and before. Some were 2004! For those of you who use money exchange when abroad you will know that early dated USD can be a problem to exchange.
I phoned up to complain and was told that was what they had available - really are you telling me they only had 6 x 100 USD notes!!! Also told it was basically there terms and conditions that they can send you anything that they have!! So even if you selected “High denominations” they can send you whatever they have and you have no come back
Shame because I will not use Sterling fx again so they have lost out. Even though it may cost me a few pennies more I will not have to carry 160USD about.

Overall a really good service! The best rate I could find! Placed order and delivered the next day no problem! Only thing I’d say which was a pain is that they don’t offer it to businesses which is what I needed!! Otherwise I’d have given it a 5*… hopefully you’ll offer it to business soon. Thanks
