Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary Announcements

Disney Minnie and Mickey

This year Disneyland Paris has been celebrating its 25th anniversary! The park first opened in 1992 and has captured the hearts of many ever since. It originally opened as ‘Euro Disney’ but has since been renamed to suit the brand. The park has released new announcements to celebrate this milestone.

Marvel Summer of Super Heroes

The newest announcement was made at Comic Con in London by Dave Bushore (Vice President Franchise Creative and Marketing for Marvel Studios) and Mark Huffman (Creative Director of Disneyland Paris). The Marvel superheroes will be making their first exclusive appearance at Disneyland Paris from 10th June to 30th September 2018.

The park has stated that the Marvel experience will be in the Walt Disney Studios Park. There will be meet and greets with your favourite characters, such as Iron Man, Spider-man and Captain America to name a few. You can also expect epic shows, so keep your eyes peeled!

Festival of Pirates and Princesses

In addition to the Marvel season, the company have also announced Disneyland Paris’ festival of Pirates and Princesses. This too is in celebration of the parks 25th birthday. This festival will run from 31st March to 31st May 2018. You get to choose whether to dress as a pirate or a princess and you can take part in an interactive experience.

Disneyland Paris is fun for all the family, so don’t miss out on the 25th Anniversary excitement! Aside from these two events, there is much more to get excited for. If you are a regular visitor, you’ll love the brand new parade, fresh shows and many more surprises along the way.
