Europe Music Festivals in Summer 2017

by |

We are incredibly lucky in Britain to have such a vibrant festival line-up over the course of a summer. From Glastonbury to T in the Park, there are renowned festivals taking place right across the isles. But for those that are wanting to experience a different culture and way of celebrating music, look no further than festivals overseas.

With lots of different genres being showcased in some of the nicest city and beach locations on the continent, I have selected some of the most renowned with some of the biggest names in music appearing at the venues.

Lollapalooza Paris

Lollapalooza play festivals across the globe in European cities and America. Paris’ festival has one of the best line-ups in terms of variety and quality of acts on the Lollapalloza tour.

Dimensions Festival

Based in Croatia, the festival combines great weather and good dance music in a beach surrounding. The event by the brand has some of the biggest names coming to Pula in late August/early September.

Tomorrowland

The festival is made famous by its atmosphere. The venue in Belgium is like no other with multiple stages to watch some of the biggest and upcoming artists from across Europe. Alesso and David Guetta are just a few well-known faces performing sets.

Wacken Open Air

The German open air festival brings together some of the biggest bands from rock, metal and grunge. From Alice Cooper to current rock bands like Megadeath, some of the biggest names in Music have been brought together over three days for a showstopping few days of anthems.

Fib

Red Hot Chilli Peppers are headlining Barcelona’s very own version of Parklife. The Catalunyan capital will be playing music from both ends of the spectrum. These include from Stormzy to Oasis’ Liam Gallagher.
